The YF-26ER Swan is a fictional aircraft that appears exclusively in Airforce Delta Storm. It is a late-tier plane, available near the end-game. It is one of many strange, fictional aircraft that appears in AFD Storm and nowhere else in the series.
Design[]
The plane itself appears to be a heavily modified X-36. It now has vertical stabilizers, and a much larger profile compared to the X-36. The wingspan is noticeably different as well, and it no longer has front canards. The rear fuselage and bottom profile is smoothly curved and engine placement is reminiscent to that of Ace Combat 3's R-101 Delphinus.
Performance[]
This plane has very impressive stats. Many of its stats are high, with the only exception being Attack. As a result, this plane is a very strong plane, and a good choice if you don't want to use the likes of the MiG-1.44 MFI or the F-22 Raptor.
Interestingly, in the PAL version of the game, the Speed stat of the plane was nerfed significantly, going from being Very High (the bar going past the fourth line) to being Medium-high (only going past the third line). Thus, in the PAL version, its usefulness is, of course, diminished slightly.

- Enemy YF-26ERs appear in Attack of the Tyrant and Destroy the Tyrant. They are required kills.

Trivia[]
- This is the only aircraft to have its stats visibly decreased in the PAL version of Storm; every other plane with a stat change is unanimously an increase in some way.
- Note: Technically, the F-15S/MT also had a decrease in its stats (its max speed is lower in the PAL version) but the stat table did not change to reflect this.
